Scubar Video Inspection Systems

Since its launch in 2004, Scubar has been used by thou-

sands of professionals, emergency service teams, military

personel and of coarse boat owners, saving time, money

and even helping to save lives.

Continually changing regulation in health and safety laws

means that visual inspection tools play an increasingly im-

portant part in day to day tasks. Scubar has proved itself

to be the tool of choice for marine and aviation engineers,

bridge inspectors, maintenance personnel.

Many Police and Fire authorities and marine units around

the world are now using Scubar as an immediate way of

carrying out first hand searches. Customs officials and

Coast Guards check vessels and vehicles for contraband,

and the military use Scubars for improvised explosive de-

vice searches and to assess damage to vessels where

previously dive services, ROV inspections and even lifts

would be required.

Scubar has recently been used by disaster response

teams in Haiti and Indonesia in collapsed building and sub-

surface searches.

Designed originally for boat owners to carry out quick and

easy close-hull inspections, Scubar soon became the sim-

plest way to check anode erosion, anti-foul condition, po-

tential damage to running gear and bow thrusters and any

other sub-surface issues where cost, health and safety or

accessibility is prohibitive.
